PETALING JAYA: Ashley Lau is on the brink of retaining the girls’ 15-18 category title at the AmBank SportExcel International Junior Golf Championships.

The 16-year-old Malaysian, who started the day in a four-way tie for the lead, pulled three strokes clear of the field after carding a one-under 71 at the Templer Park Country Club in Rawang yesterday.
