Plenty of action but no goals between Malaysia and Thailand

PETALING JAYA: The boisterous atmosphere at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil certainly galvanised Harimau Malaya as they dominated the first half of the AFF Suzuki Cup semi-final against Thailand but could not convert them to goals.

Malaysia had eight attempts at Thailand’s goal but most of the shots taken by the players were either wide or smothered by Thailand’s goalkeeper Chatchai Bootprom.
