Cross-border leagues can help prevent Champions League decline - SFA

(Reuters) - Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Regan has backed the idea of cross-border leagues and believes they could also help maintain the popularity of the Champions League in the long run.

Regan thinks that the cross-border league concept could help close the gap between the haves and have nots in European football.
