TEMERLOH: Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has described the decision taken by the four national players from Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) to retire from international football as a “big loss” for the country.

The four are skipper Safiq Rahim, 28; centreback Mohd Aidil Zafuan, 29; rightback S. Kunalan, 29; and midfielder Mohd Amirulhadi Zainal, 30.
