JOHOR BARU: It seems the incidents involving JDT fans just never seems to end.
About two thousand angry JDT fans blocked all exits at the Larkin Stadium on Monday night after the FA Cup semi-final first-leg match against Pahang ended in a 1-1 draw. For two hours, fans from the visiting side were prevented from leaving the stadium.
The fans demanded that the Pahang side apologise over an incident in which Johor fans were attacked during the Super League match in Kuantan in February.
After repeated calls to disperse by the police, and cooling off talks between leaders of both sets of fans, the visiting side were allowed to leave at about 1am.
The police arrested several people in connection with the incident.
