IT is really frightening to think of having an additional 1.5 million Bangladeshis coming to our shores even though they are supposed to be brought in stages over a period of time.

So our youths had better take up the gauntlet thrown by the Deputy Prime Minister to do the “dirty work” (presumably manual work) so that our country does not have to perpetually rely on foreign labour to sustain our lifestyles, “Take up jobs done by foreigners, challenges DPM” (The Star, Feb 15).
