Resolve to treat with care

IT’S that time of the year again when even the most fervent pessimist suppresses his or her natural urges and looks forward with hope. A new year is upon us, and while it’s questionable why an arbitrary cycle of time should change any aspect of one’s life, that’s exactly what we believe.

Humankind thrives on hope, the faith that a better future will eclipse a mundane or even catastrophic past. With it, the desire to better oneself is fanned, thus the idea of new year resolutions.
