Beware the illegals when issuing MyKads to fire victims, says PBS

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah lauds the swift re-issuance of MyKads to recent fire victims in the squatter settlements of Putatan by the National Registration Department (NRD) but warns that there may be illegals who are seeking to gain citizenship in this way.

He said in a statement that the NRD must ensure that only Malaysians were issued identification cards.
