TI-M urges EC, MACC and cops to take action against money politics

PETALING JAYA: Transparency International-Malaysia (TI-M) has urged the Election Commission (EC), the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and the police to take action against anyone who resorts to money politics while campaigning for the Cameron Highlands by-election.

TI-M president Datuk Seri Akhbar Satar said that enforcement officers should closely monitor the campaign activities of all candidates and their machinery to ensure that no one violates the rules, regulations and ethics of election campaigning.
