Indonesian prosecutors seek 14 years for actor Benjy over drugs hidden in rectum

MEDAN: Prosecutors at the Medan District Court demanded that Malaysian actor Khaeryll Benjamin bin Ibrahim (pic), better known as Benjy, 38, to be sent to 14 years in prison and fined Rp 800mil (RM251,359) for allegedly smuggling crystal methamphetamine in his rectum.

In the hearing on Wednesday, prosecutor Maria F. Tarigan argued that Khaeryll allegedly violated the 2009 Law on Narcotics.
