UMS student drowns, six injured after boat capsizes in Kuala Besut


KUALA LUMPUR: A 21-year-old Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) student drowned and six people were injured after a boat carrying 15 students capsized off Kuala Besut.

Besut OCPD Superintendent Mohd Zamri Mohd Rowi said the boat was ferrying a group of students from Pulau Perhentian to the Kuala Besut jetty when the mishap occurred on Tuesday.
