Fire destroys hotel and shoplots in Tawau

Firemen battling the blaze that had already engulfed the shophouses were widely circulated on social media.

KOTA KINABALU: An early morning fire destroyed a hotel and four shophouses in the east coast town of Tawau.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department operations centre chief Khatizah Rahaban said no casualties were reported in the incident that started at about 4.50am on Friday.
