Ministry to boost telecom services this festive season


KUALA BERANG: The Commu­ni­­ca­tions and Multimedia Mi­­nistry will be taking measures to boost telecommunication servi­ces during this festive period to avoid disruptions.

Deputy Minister Datuk Jailani Johari said the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission was in the process of optimising the signal transmission system, as well as installing mobile units such as Cellular on Wheels, pico BTS, Micro BTS, RAN sharing Multiple Operator for 2G, 3G, LTE signals at rest and service areas, highways and in major cities.
