SEREMBAN: Students from underprivileged families here who excelled in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be able to apply for scholarships – thanks to a RM1mil special fund set up by six institutions of higher learning here.
Called the MyUni Scholarship Initiative, the move has received the thumbs-up from Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon, who said more institutions should emulate the six.
