Mum gets 6 months' jail, RM2,000 fine for slapping teacher

NIBONG TEBAL: A magistrate's court has sentenced a 36-year-old mother of three to six months' jail and a fine of RM2,000 for slapping a teacher at a school in Sungai Bakap.

Tan Seow Yen was charged with slapping her child's primary school teacher L. Vanitha, 38, at SJK (C) Chong Kuang in Sungai Bakap at about 5.15pm on Feb 2, 2015.
