Catamaran owner may face six more charges

KOTA KINABALU: The owner of the catamaran that sank off Pulau Mengalum on Chinese New Year may be facing six additional charges on top of the accusation that he was ferrying people in unsafe conditions.

Deputy public prosecutor Umar Faiz Abd Kohar told magistrate Stephanie Sharron Abbie that Leong Vin Jee (pic), 44, might have his case heard together with the new charges at the Tourism Court.
