Protesters, DBKL officers accuse each other of assault

PETALING JAYA: It is a case of conflicting accounts involving a group of protesters and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officers, with both sides claiming they were assaulted by the other.

A group of cyclists claimed that enforcement officers intimidated, heckled and even slapped one of them during a demonstration on Sunday to protest against the impounding of bicycles in the city.
