KOTA KINABALU: It was a close call for 16 teachers when the boat they were travelling in sprang a leak and almost sank near Tobo-Tobo waters, off Semporna, Thursday.
Thanks to the quick action of the skipper, who made a speedy detour to a nearby jetty, a disaster was avoided.
