JPJ: Over 50,000 ride motorcycles to school without licences

KUNDANG: More than 50,000 students rode motorcycles to school without licences in 2016, says Road Transport Department (JPJ) Deputy Director-General Yusoff Ayob.

Yusoff said on Saturday that statistics collected by the JPJ in 2016 showed that only 117,268 out of 172,535 student bikers had obtained the B2 class licences required to operate motorcycles with smaller horsepower.
