Ten-year-old boy missing since Monday

PETALING JAYA: A 10-year old boy has been missing since Monday and his disappearance is now officially classified as a missing persons case.

The boy, Noor Ayrill Aqasha (pic), was last seen at Taman Maluri Cheras, said his mother Siti Rohayu Yaakob on her Facebook page.

The police's NUR Alert (National Urgent Response) website has also included the boy's profile in its list of missing children.

News portals reported that Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin confirmed the case and that the police were looking into the matter as a missing persons case.

Noor Ayrill was reportedly under the custody of his father for the past three months.
