PETALING JAYA: The Bersih 2.0 steering committee has rejected the Election Commission’s (EC) claim of fair elections, stating they wouldn’t be fighting for electoral reforms if that were the case.
Their backlash was in response to an opinion piece by EC chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Hashim Abdullah published in a local paper on Oct 23 claiming that Malaysia’s elections are fair.
