Clarification sought on tax rebates for companies

PETALING JAYA: Tax firms are hoping to get more clarification from the Finance Ministry on rebates given to private companies, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Officials from a tax consultancy firm said they had been told that the Finance Ministry would come up with clear guidelines on Wednesday regarding the changes to the corporate tax for companies, as announced in Budget 2017.
