Tributes pour in for late peace accord facilitator

PETALING JAYA: Both sides in the southern Philippines peace process have paid tribute to Malaysian facilitator Datuk Tengku Abdul Ghaffar Tengku Mohd (pic) who died yesterday at age 63.

The diplomat who mediated the peace talks that started in 2001 to end a decade-long bloody conflict in Mindanao, died at his home in Kuala Lumpur.
