Khir Toyo takes second wife


KUALA LUMPUR: Former Selangor mentri besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo (pic) has married Christine Zanitrah Abdullah as his second wife.

It is learnt that Dr Mohamad Khir, 51, and civil servant Christine Zanitrah, 39, who converted to Islam last April, were married at an unknown location.

"Mohamad Khir's second marriage was conducted in the country. Christine Zanitrah is a civil servant in Putrajaya," a source close to Dr Mohamad Khir told Bernama on Sunday.

Christine Zanitrah Abdullah is a civil servant in Putrajaya.


The source also sent several pictures of the couple at their wedding ceremony. Christine Zanitrah wore a dress designed by Datuk Radzuan Radziwill.

Dr Mohamad Khir married his first wife, Zaharah Kechik, in 1990 and the couple have six children. – Bernama
