KUALA LUMPUR: Justice and truth must prevail in the case involving the alleged siphoning of funds from 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) so that innocent parties are not victimised, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein.
“We want justice and the truth. But in doing so, we should not let innocent parties become victims,” he said, commenting on the civil suit filed by the US Department of Justice seeking to seize US$1bil (RM4.02bil) worth of assets allegedly obtained using funds siphoned from 1MDB.
