GEORGE TOWN: Marine police arrested a 44-year-old Indonesian man and seized contraband cigarettes worth about RM70,000 at a sundry shop in Kampung Belah Dua in Bukit Mertajam.
Its Region 1 deputy commander Supt Dimin Awang said a team led by Insp Muhamad Hafiz Patihah found the contraband in the premises at about 9pm on Tuesday following a tip-off.
