AG orders MACC to further investigations into LGE bungalow case

PETALING JAYA: The Attorney-General’s chambers has instructed the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to conduct further investigations on Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng bungalow case.

Attorney General Tan Sri Apandi Ali said that after reviewing the investigation papers submitted by MACC on May 26, they decided that there were several things that needed to be investigated before it was complete.

“The chambers have returned the investigation papers so that the MACC can conduct further investigations. We have also instructed that the investigation papers be returned back in the soonest possible time,” he said in a statement on Monday
