Emulating Saudis in drug war

PETALING JAYA: The Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) hopes to emulate some of the successes of Saudi Arabia in the war against drugs, which includes setting up a one-stop call centre and state-of-the-art training facility.

NCID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff (pic), who led a delegation on a week-long working visit to the kingdom last week, said he was impressed by proactive measures taken by the Saudi General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC).
