KUALA LUMPUR: A chief executive officer is claiming that he is a whistleblower who sought help from the authorities to investigate financial irregularities in his workplace.
Lead counsel Amer Hamzah Arshad submitted that his client Dr Syed Omar Syed Agil, who is CEO of Institut Profesional Baitulmal Sdn Bhd (IPB), had acted within the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
