GEORGE TOWN: About 4,000 mosquito traps will be placed in densely populated areas in the state soon as the latest strategy in culling the aedes mosquito population.
This is the first time the traps – invented and patented by the Malaysia Institute of Medical Research and launched last month – will be deployed on a large scale in the country.
