KUALA LUMPUR: One in 10 children is a smoker while one in five is exposed to secondary smoke, a study in 18 schools in Selangor has found.
Universiti Malaya (UM) Wellness Research Cluster dean Prof Dr Noor Hayaty Abu Kasim said from the study carried out by the university on 4,400 students aged 13 to 16, 8.9% of them admitted they smoked.
