KUALA LUMPUR: The Government is not legally bound to take over the US$3.5bil (RM14.3bil) bond of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), says Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Najib, who is also Prime Minister, said there were no documents binding the Government to the bond.
