PETALING JAYA: An aptitude test will be a better way to address the issue of young doctors quitting medical practice rather than helping them move to non-clinical practice after they have become house officers, said the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
Its president Dr Ashok Zachariah Phillip said it was good that the Health Ministry was trying to assist house officers who were not keen to be clinician.
