Opposition rep backs Khaled as MB

DATUK Mohamed Khaled Nordin has received the support of an Opposition assemblyman to remain as the Mentri Besar.

Aminolhuda Hassan (Amanah-Parit Yaani) said that he hoped Khaled will continue until the next general election.

“I can sense some uneasiness among Barisan Nasional assemblymen. We do not want a sudden change of MB like what happened in Terengganu and Kedah,” he said. Barisan assemblymen also praised Khaled for his leadership and vision for the state.

A. Aziz Ismail (BN- Senggarang) described Khaled as a rational and pragmatic leader, adding that the latter was committed to his work.

“You have our utmost respect, Sir,” he said, adding that Khaled had all-round support.

Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar had in his royal address during the opening of the state assembly endorsed Khaled to continue leading the state government.

The Johor Ruler reminded irresponsible quarters not to make allegations or accusations against state leaders.
