Man stabs brother to death in Rawang


KUALA LUMPUR:  A man stabbed his brother to death during a quarrel at their home in Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, near here Tuesday night. 

In the 10pm incident, the victim, in his 20s, was stabbed with a knife and died at the scene, said Gombak deputy police Supt Mohd Marzukhi Mohd Mokhtar.

The elder brother who is in his 40s was apprehended by the public not far from the house.

Police received a call about the incident at 10.14pm.

"A Motorcycle Patrol Unit team found the victim lying sprawled in a pool of blood at his home and was no longer breathing," said Supt Mohd Marzuki.

He said the victim's body was sent to the Sungai Buloh Hospital for post-mortem and that police had classified the case as murder.

The suspect will be remanded for seven days to facilitate investigations. - Bernama
