Ambiga says Guan Eng "should consider" taking leave pending MACC probe

PETALING JAYA: Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng should consider taking leave from his post, pending an investigation by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission into the controversial RM2.8mil bungalow purchase, said Malaysian Human Rights Society (Hakam) president Datuk S Ambiga.

Ambiga said every public official must be held accountable, although it is not a law for an official to take a break pending the investigation.
