Jail sentence and fine for ‘Casanova Ustaz’

KUALA LUMPUR: The Syariah court sentenced a “Casanova Ustaz” to five months jail and ordered him to pay a RM4,000 fine for attempted polygamy and marriage without a court registrar's permission.

Health drink seller Mohd Razis Ismail, 34, was sentenced by Syarie Judge Mohd Saifullah Hamzah for five different charges involving five different women – three for attempted polygamy and two for getting married without permission.
