Higher prices or not, beers will still be downed

KUALA LUMPUR: Happy Hour is still on for most beer drinkers despite a new excise duty that could see the price of malt liquor going up slightly.

Events company manager Kenny Loh, 32, said even if pubs pushed the hike to consumers, he did not mind forking out just a little extra, adding that drinking was already part of people’s expenditure on leisure.
