Gearing up for theTamil harvest festival

KUALA LUMPUR: Preparations for Ponggal (harvest festival) are picking up with customers busy snapping up clay pots, sugar cane and rice for the festival which falls on Friday.

In Brickfields here, customers were seen checking out the clay pots stacked in many grocery shops. The prices of the pots range from RM6 to RM30 depending on their size.
