Former Negri Sembilan MCA chief passes away


PORT DICKSON: Former state MCA chief Datuk Dr Yeow Chai Tiam (pix) died after a long battle with cancer at his home here on Thursday. He was 63.

Dr Yeow, who founded the Mawar Renal Medical Centre, which provides subsidised dialysis treatment for the needy, is survived by a wife and two children.

He had served as Lukut assemblyman for four terms and as state exco for two terms.

Dr Yeow also served as a member of the Senate for one term.
