GEORGE TOWN: Three hawkers in Jelutong were found to have hired foreigners to cook street food last year, said Penang Island City Council (MBPP) Licensing Com-mittee alternate chairman Ong Ah Teong.
“We merely issued those three with notices because the ban on foreigners cooking Penang hawker fare was not in effect last year,” he said.
