Cargo airlines: MAHB’s claim over Boeing 747s 'somewhat inaccurate'

PETALING JAYA: Several points raised by Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) over the three Boeing 747s parked at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) were “somewhat inaccurate”, claimed SWIFT Air Cargo.

MAHB's claim that the last owner of the planes was Shaanxi Sunshine Cargo was not true as the Chinese company was merely part of a series of transactions for two of the planes, it said.  “The assumption MAHB made was that the company paying the parking fees on the aircraft was the aircraft owner. This is not necessarily the case.”
