KUALA LUMPUR: An individual suspected of conspiring with Customs officials and accepting bribes from a syndicate smuggling undeclared liquor has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
MACC’s director of investigations Datuk Mohd Jamidan Abdullah said the man, aged 39, was detained at a hotel in Bandar Utama.
