Police refute rumours of child smuggling bid into Thailand


KEDAH anti-smuggling unit chief Abdul Latiff Abdul Rahman has denied news circulating on social media sites that there was an attempt to smuggle six local children from Bukit Kayu Hitam into Thailand via a poultry lorry, according to Harian Metro.

The rumours were said to have been sparked by a man who posted a congratulatory message on Facebook on the success of the Bukit Kayu Hitam anti-smuggling unit in preventing the incident.
