Man rejected by estranged wife burns in-laws' house

TAWAU: A 52-year-old man distraught by his failure to woo back his estranged wife set fire to his in-laws’ house in Taman Semarak resulting in his brother-in-law suffering from severe burns.

Darwin Tahang, 24, was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Tawau Hospital with 95% burns on his body caused while trying to stop the suspect from torching their home in the 8.30am incident yesterday.
