BANGALORE: The Star was honoured with four prizes at the 12th Asian Media Awards 2013 presented by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) here.
A story on the difficulty of Penans accessing education in Sarawak’s remote Upper Baram district won the silver medal in the Best Newspaper Feature category. It was written by assistant editor Chin Mui Yoon and published in Star2 on March 5 last year.
