Police recovered at least five empty slugs outside the house after the 5.30am incident in Mentakab on Tuesday. At least three bullets hit the businessman's car shattering the glass of one of the doors.
It is learnt that the 32-year-old businessman was awaken by noises at about 5.30am. He looked out and saw a motorcycle sped off.
