Trading ideas: Signature, Muhibbah, Kronologi Asia, Petra Energy, LTKM

KUALA LUMPUR: Signature International Bhd, Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd, Kronologi Asia Bhd, Petra Energy Bhd, and LTKM Bhd are among the stocks to watch on Monday, according to Apex Securities.

Signature is acquiring 19.9 million shares or 0.72% of the paid-up share capital of Hextar Industries Bhd for RM11.51mil.

Muhibbah was awarded a RM116.4mil contract by Petronas’ subsidiary.

Kronologi’s net profit for 3QFY2023 dipped 9.83% year-on-year to RM7.25mil.

Petra Energy had secured a one-year extension to the contract from Petronas Carigali for the provision of offshore maintenance, construction and modification (MCM) services.

LTKM intends to review the terms of the RM336mil reverse takeover deal proposed earlier this year due to challenging market conditions.

Meanwhile, the US market tumbled on Friday after November's PPI was higher than expected which could influence the Federal Reserve's rate hike quantum this Wednesday.

Earlier, European stocks ended positive on hopes for China's economy to recover following easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

“The FBM KLCI could remain sideways below the resistance of 1,500 points after all the positives from the general election has been factored in,” Apex said.
