Tuju Setia’s order book expands to RM1.5bil

PETALING JAYA: Tuju Setia Bhd’s order book has expanded to RM1.5bil owing to its recent win of a RM257mil construction contract.

The contract will see Pembinaan Tuju Setia (PTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tuju Setia, as the main contractor for the construction of Jernih Residence in Kajang, Selangor.

“PTS will construct two blocks of 1,605-unit serviced apartments, a car park podium, retail units as well as other facilities,” said the company in a statement.

This high-rise development is the company’s second contract with Sunway’s Group whereby its first contract with the group was back in December 2021 was as the main contractor for Sunway d’hill Residences.

The letter of award from Daksina Harta Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company owned by Sunway Bhd (60%) and MKH Bhd (40%), was handed to PTS recently.

It was also noted by the MD that the high-quality construction scores of two of the firm’s projects completed in the past year helped it to stand out in its upcoming tenders.
