United U-Li’s net profit up 56.5%


The cable support systems manufacturer’s revenue came in lower at RM41.3mil for Q3’21, compared with RM51.1mil in Q3’20 due to the implementation of the movement control order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus since July 2021.

PETALING JAYA: United U-Li Corp Bhd’s net profit rose 56.5% to RM7.9mil for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2021 (Q3’21) from RM5.1mil in Q3’20 on improved margins.

The cable support systems manufacturer’s revenue came in lower at RM41.3mil for Q3’21, compared with RM51.1mil in Q3’20 due to the implementation of the movement control order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 virus since July 2021.

Year-to-date, United U-Li’s net profit jumped to RM27mil from RM102,000 in the nine months to September 2020, while revenue rose 22.3% to RM132.4mil from RM108.3mil previously.
